RESPONSIBILITIES OF LEADERS IN AN ORGANISATION



Leader in work organisation have vital roles to play and vital responsibilities to carry out before achieving high productivity level and better organisation performance. These roles and responsibilities if  carried out effectively and intelligently could alleviate the problems confronting the leaders 

  1. SELF TRAINING AND CORRECTION MEASURES                      They should be used to changed the personal selfishness and authoritarian personality.
  2. RECRUITING INTERVIEW AND WORKERS SELECTION          leaders should use  objective techniques and follow the principle of meritocracy
  3. MOTIVATING WORKERS                                                      Leaders should establish sense of belonging and  ownership                                                         
  4. DIRECTING AND ASSISTING WORKERS                                   They should direct their workers in co-operative spirit and in the right direction
  5. BUILD EFFECTIVE WORKING TEAM                                        this could be done by encouraging group formation ,identify with the group and joining them
