Tech news: UBER CEO takes leave of absence
Uber CEO is stepping down indefinitely Travis Kalanick , the CEO and cofounder of UBER told the staff he will take time off in other to grieve for his mother, who died recently in boating accident. The announcement came moment UBER staff held a meeting to discuss recommendation from a month long investigation into UBER office culture conducted by US attorney general Eric Holder. UBER hired Holder after a woman engineer complain that the company failed to address the issue about sexual harassment she and other women faced in the company.
